What is the process of applying for 9G Visa?
Whether you are residing outside or inside the Philippines, the first step is to apply for AEP (Alien Employment Permit) in DOLE (Department of Labor & Employment). Your sponsor company may process this in your behalf.
Once AEP is approved, the applicant/company can apply to Bureau of Immigration with all the requirements.
Once filed, BI will set a hearing, during that day the applicant will be required for “data capturing” or the biometrics procedure, lastly interviewed by BI officer.
Lastly, wait for the approval the usual processing time takes between 50 days to 6months, if applied by the sponsor company. However, companies approved by BI can expedite the process from 3-5weeks only.
